De rhetorica

El retrato más antiguo de Agustín (fresco de Letrán, s. VI)
byAugustine of Hippo

A short manual of rhetoric in the Ciceronian tradition transmitted under Augustine's name as part of his Disciplinarum libri. The Retractationes say only the beginnings of the rhetoric were written and that they were lost; most scholars consider the surviving text the work of another author.
