Aristotle's last dispositions: he names Antipater as executor, provides for his daughter's marriage to Nicanor, protects Herpyllis and their son Nicomachus, frees several slaves, orders statues of his family and asks to be buried beside the remains of his wife Pythias. It is the most personal document of his that we possess.

Authorship note
A document preserved by Diogenes Laertius (V 11–16), who says he came across it. Most specialists regard it as substantially authentic; Arabic versions also exist.
