Περὶ κόσμου

Busto de Aristóteles (Museo Nacional Romano, Palazzo Altemps)
byAristotle

An elegant, popular exposition of the order of the cosmos, from the heavenly spheres to terrestrial phenomena, culminating in a theology: God, like the Great King of Persia in his palace, governs the universe from on high through his power, without intervening directly in each thing. Its cosmic rhetoric influenced the philosophical and religious literature of the imperial age.
