Lev Tolstói en Yásnaia Poliana (1908)
byLeo Tolstoy

«Byl», or true story. Part of the Azbuka cycle (1872–1875), the primers Tolstoy wrote for peasant children, included in the Second Russian Reader (1875). A peasant millwright believes he has invented a mill that runs by itself, without water, wind or horses, and asks his master for money to build it: a lesson on perpetual motion.
