Nandīsūtra (The Auspicious Sūtra)
Traditional attribution
Nandīsūtra (The Auspicious Sūtra)
नंदी (Naṃdī) / नन्दीसूत्र (Nandīsūtra)

Ascribed to Devavācaka (5th c.), perhaps identifiable with Devarddhigaṇi: it contains the list of masters of the lineage, the Jain theory of the five kinds of knowledge and the catalogue of canonical texts, including the description of the lost Dṛṣṭivāda. It is the main source on the composition of the Valabhī canon.

Authorship note
An "appendix" text (cūlikāsūtra) of the Śvetāmbara canon, composed by later masters to arrange and interpret the canon.
