The third Upāṅga: a systematic classification of non-living substances and of living beings according to their senses, place of birth and destiny, followed by an extensive description of Jain cosmography, with its concentric continents and oceans and the island of Nandīśvara.

Authorship note
A Śvetāmbara canonical text of the Upāṅga group, "secondary limbs" associated with the Aṅgas; later than them and anonymous or ascribed to later masters. Fixed at Valabhī; not recognised by the Digambaras.
