The tenth Aṅga. The surviving text deals with the five "doors" through which karma enters (violence, falsehood, theft, incontinence, possession) and the five that stop it, and it does not match the description given of it in the Sthānāṅga and Samavāyāṅga, which speak of questions and divinatory sciences: the original was lost and replaced.

Authorship note

Canonical compilation: according to the Śvetāmbara tradition it transmits Mahāvīra's teaching as recited by his disciple Sudharman to Jambū; it was written down at Valabhī (c. 453/466 CE) and contains strata of very different periods. Mahāvīra did not write it. The Digambaras regard the original Aṅgas as lost.
