छक्खंडागम (Chakkhaṃḍāgama) / षट्खण्डागम (Ṣaṭkhaṇḍāgama)

A treatise in Śaurasenī Prakrit on karma and the condition of souls, arranged in six parts. For the Digambaras it is the oldest and most sacred text, transmitted according to their tradition from the lost Pūrvas. Its great commentary, Vīrasena's Dhavalā (9th c.), gives its name to the Mūḍbidrī manuscripts, which were published only in the twentieth century.
No edition of this work is currently on sale in a store we have been able to verify.
Authorship note
A Digambara scripture written down by the monks Puṣpadanta and Bhūtabali (1st–3rd c.) from the teaching of Dharasena, which tradition traces back through the Pūrvas to Mahāvīra. It is not Mahāvīra's work.
