Euthydemus
Εὐθύδημος

A philosophical comedy in which two sophist brothers, Euthydemus and Dionysodorus, display before young Clinias their art of refuting any answer with fallacies. Socrates intersperses his own way of exhorting to philosophy, showing that only wisdom makes good use of goods. A satirical portrait of eristic and a defence of dialectic.
