《莊子·寓言》

A late preface on the book's own style: nine words in ten are "imputed words" (yuyan), seven in ten are "weighty words" of elders, and "goblet words" (zhiyan) flow every day like a vessel that tips when full. It includes Confucius's change at sixty.

Authorship note
Miscellaneous chapter (zapian). Not by Zhuang Zhou, even though the book circulates under his name: it belongs to the schools that claimed him between the 4th and 2nd centuries BCE, and its present form is that of Guo Xiang's recension (c. 300 CE). Heterogeneous material: Graham identifies in it fragments related to the inner chapters alongside school additions.
