Nārada visita a Vālmīki
byNarada

Hymn 8.13 is a praise of Indra, drinker of soma, in the manner of the poets of the Kāṇva family; the brief hymns 9.104 and 9.105 invite the singers to celebrate the purified soma. They are the oldest texts associated with Nārada’s name, though the ascription, fixed in later indexes, does not allow the poet to be identified with the sage of the epic.
