Nārada Pañcarātra (Jñānāmṛtasāra Saṃhitā)

नारदपञ्चरात्र (ज्ञानामृतसार संहिता)

Nārada visita a Vālmīki
byNarada

A collection in several “nights” (rātra) of dialogues on the worship of Kṛṣṇa, with hymns, mantras, ritual prescriptions and a marked devotion to Rādhā. It was edited in Calcutta in 1865 by K. M. Banerjea and translated into English by Swami Vijnanananda in 1921. Gauḍīya authors such as Rūpa Gosvāmī quote under the name Nārada Pañcarātra definitions of devotion that became classic, though they do not always match the printed text. Early Pāñcarātra literature, by contrast, gives Nārada a central role through the Nārāyaṇīya of the Mahābhārata.
