Lectures from Colombo to Almora

Swami Vivekananda en Chicago, septiembre de 1893 (con dedicatoria autógrafa)
bySwami Vivekananda

The Vivekananda who speaks to Indians: a call to strength and self-confidence, criticism of superstition, of the ritualism of 'kitchen religion' and of untouchability, a programme of mass education and the vision of an India giving the world its spirituality. It includes 'The Mission of the Vedanta', with the Katha Upanishad exhortation 'arise, awake'. It is the text most quoted by later Indian nationalism.
