Inspired Talks
Intimate teaching to a dozen disciples over seven summer weeks: commentaries on the Gita, the Upanishads and the Yoga Sutras, aphorisms on renunciation and freedom. The disciples present considered it his highest teaching; its note form gives it a direct, fragmentary tone.

Sarah Ellen Waldo's notes of the Thousand Island Park classes (June–August 1895), published in 1908 by the Ramakrishna Math, Madras. Not a verbatim transcript.
