Swami Vivekananda en Chicago, septiembre de 1893 (con dedicatoria autógrafa)
bySwami Vivekananda

'The Song of the Sannyasin', written at Thousand Island Park, is the poetic manifesto of renunciation; 'Kali the Mother', composed in Kashmir, expresses his devotion to the terrible goddess he had rejected as a young man. His Bengali hymns to Ramakrishna are still sung daily in the Order's centres.
