A treatise on the rational soul, its faculties, its immortality and its ascent to the knowledge of God, of very Avicennian content. Were it authentic it would be a key piece of his psychology; the doubt about its authorship calls for caution in using it.

Disputed attribution: its psychology follows Avicenna very closely and several scholars consider it apocryphal (Ghazali.org records the debate).
