The Sifted Notes on the Foundations

An early treatise on legal theory (*usul al-fiqh*) recording al-Juwayni's teaching. It contains passages critical of the Hanafi school which, decades later, his enemies used to accuse him before Sultan Sanjar; al-Ghazali then explained that it was a youthful work.
No edition of this work is currently on sale in a store we have been able to verify.
Authorship note
An early work based on al-Juwayni's lessons; his opponents used it against him before Sanjar (503/1109) for its judgements on Abu Hanifa.
