The Vedanta Philosophy: An Address before the Graduate Philosophical Society

Swami Vivekananda en Chicago, septiembre de 1893 (con dedicatoria autógrafa)
bySwami Vivekananda

Academic exposition of the three schools of Vedanta—dualist, qualified non-dualist and non-dualist—and their relation to the Upanishads, followed by a discussion with the audience. According to his disciples' biography it earned him the offer of a chair of Eastern philosophy, which he declined as a monk; the offer is not documented in the university records consulted by his biographers.
