The Tree of Being
شجرة الكون (Shajarat al-kawn)
A short treatise presenting the cosmos as a tree sprung from the seed of the divine "Be", whose branches are the worlds and whose fruit is the Prophet, culminating in an account of the ascension. Widely circulated in the Islamic world, it has been read as a popular synthesis of Akbarian cosmology, though its authorship is disputed.
