A treatise describing the human being as a kingdom governed by God: the heart is the king, the intellect its vizier, and the faculties and limbs its subjects and soldiers. Modelled on the mirrors for princes, it transfers political science to the inner life and shows how to set that kingdom in order so that the divine may dwell in it.
