Written work

The Spirit of Holiness (portraits of Andalusi masters)

روح القدس في مناصحة النفس (Ruh al-quds fi munasahat al-nafs)

Ibn Arabi a caballo con dos discípulos (miniatura safaví)
byIbn Arabi

After a severe critique of the Sufis of his day, the author draws portraits of some seventy masters he knew in al-Andalus and the Maghreb, among them the old woman of Seville Fatima bint al-Muthanna. It is an exceptional document on Andalusi religious life in the twelfth century and on Ibn Arabi's own formation.
