The Niche of Lights (Divine Sayings)
مشكاة الأنوار فيما روي عن الله سبحانه من الأخبار (Mishkat al-anwar)
A selection of one hundred and one hadith qudsi, words of God transmitted by the Prophet outside the Qur'an, which Ibn Arabi gathered with their chains of transmission during his stay in Mecca. The choice reveals the themes running through his work: mercy, divine love, God's nearness and the servant as the locus of His manifestation.
