كتاب الجلال والجمال (Kitab al-jalal wa-l-jamal)
A short treatise on the two great categories of divine names, majesty (jalal), which awes and contracts, and beauty (jamal), which attracts and expands. Ibn Arabi shows how both are mirrored in the states of the wayfarer, fear and hope, contraction and expansion, and why neither occurs without the other.
