Quaestiones Parisienses
In the first he argues that in God understanding is the ground of being ('Deus est intelligere'), reversing the Thomist priority; in others he debates whether intellect or will is the higher power and whether praise of God in heaven is nobler than love in this life. They are the basis of his metaphysics of intellect.

Authorship note
Authentic Latin work, edited in Die lateinischen Werke. Five disputed questions from his two regencies (1302–1303 and c. 1311–1313); one preserves the reply of the Franciscan Gonsalvus of Spain.
