كنه ما لا بد منه للمريد (Kunh ma la budda minhu li-l-murid)
A short manual of advice for those beginning the path: sincerity of intention, observance of the religious law, the company of a master, the remembrance of God, fasting, vigil and the guarding of the tongue. It is one of Ibn Arabi's most practical texts and has circulated widely as a guide for Sufi beginners.
