ميزان العمل (Mizan al-'amal)
A treatise on ethics adapting Aristotelian psychology and the doctrine of the virtues, by way of Avicenna and Miskawayh, to a religious ethics directed to happiness in the hereafter. It anticipates the moral structure of the *Ihya*, with the purification of the soul and the balance of the faculties.

Authorship note
Authentic, slightly earlier than the Ihya; its authenticity was partly questioned because of its closeness to philosophical ethics (Iranica).
