The Standard of Knowledge (logic)
معيار العلم في فن المنطق (Mi'yar al-'ilm)
An extensive manual of Aristotelian logic written in Baghdad alongside the *Tahafut*. Al-Ghazali holds that logic is a neutral instrument, valid for theologians and jurists, and replaces philosophical examples with examples from law and theology. With it syllogistic fully enters the Sunni religious sciences.
