The Concise (Shafi'i law)

الوجيز في فقه الإمام الشافعي (al-Wajiz)

Al-Ghazali según Khalil Gibran
byAl-Ghazali

The shortest of his Shafi'i law manuals, written during the retreat in Tus. Its concision made it a school text: al-Rafi'i wrote a great commentary on it, *al-'Aziz*, itself the basis of al-Nawawi's *Rawda*, so that the *Wajiz* stands at the origin of classical Shafi'i doctrine.
