Uttarpara Speech

Sri Aurobindo hacia 1900
bySri Aurobindo

His first speech after his acquittal and his most direct testimony of what he lived through in Alipore jail: the reading of the Gita, the vision of Vasudeva in everything and everyone, the inner command to work for the sanatana dharma. It marks the move from political nationalism to spiritual mission: “The Sanatan Dharma, that is nationalism.”
