A record of Aurobindo’s informal talks with a small group of disciples before his withdrawal and during his convalescence of 1938: politics, war, literature, science, yoga, anecdotes from his life. Valuable, but filtered through Purani’s memory and wording.

Authorship note
Conversations from 1923–1926 and from the late 1930s noted down by A. B. Purani and published in three series (1959–1966). They are not texts revised by Aurobindo.
