Atma Vidya Kirtanam (Song on Self-Knowledge)

ஆன்ம வித்தை கீர்த்தனம்

Retrato de Ramana Maharshi por G. G. Welling (1948)
byRamana Maharshi

A short Tamil song written in 1927 from a refrain by Muruganar. Its central idea is that knowledge of the Self is the easiest and nearest thing, because the Self is always present: one need only let go of identification with the body and turn attention to its source for ignorance to dissolve. It is included in the collected works.
