Translations from the Agamas (Atma Sakshatkara and Devikalottara)

Retrato de Ramana Maharshi por G. G. Welling (1948)
byRamana Maharshi

Two instructions of Shiva on the path of knowledge, one addressed to Parvati and the other to Guha, which the Agamic tradition regards as the most strictly non-dual. Ramana rendered them into Tamil verse for those around him; they show that he recognised his own teaching in the Shaiva temple scriptures as well, not only in Vedanta.

Authorship note

Tamil verse renderings of two Shaiva Agamas: the Devikalottara, translated in the early years at Virupaksha Cave, and the Atma Sakshatkara (part of the Sarvajnanottara), translated in 1933. The year recorded is that of the latter. No Spanish edition located; the Spanish title is descriptive.
