Bulbul-nama (Book of the Nightingale)
بلبلنامه (Bulbul-nama)

A masnavi in which the nightingale, brought before Solomon for singing love songs to the rose, defends himself and is finally vindicated. It is a variation on the nightingale-and-rose symbolism central to Persian lyric, and circulated widely under Attar's name.
