Attar
Kanz al-asrar (The Treasure of Secrets)
Traditional attribution
Kanz al-asrar (The Treasure of Secrets)
کنزالاسرار (Kanz al-asrar)

A poem ascribed to Attar that Ritter and the *Encyclopaedia of Islam* declare apocryphal beyond dispute. Its title imitates those of the authentic works, such as the *Asrar-nama*. Reinert lists it among the works to be subtracted from the total that legend ascribed to the poet.
No edition of this work is currently on sale in a store we have been able to verify.
Authorship note
Indisputably apocryphal: Ritter and the *Encyclopaedia of Islam* count it among the works falsely ascribed to Attar beyond dispute.
