The Fifth Gospel
Aus der Akasha-Forschung. Das Fünfte Evangelium (GA 148)
Lectures of 1913–1914 in which Steiner recounts episodes from the life of Jesus that he says he obtained through spiritual research, beyond the four Gospels. Steiner presented it as the fruit of reading the Akashic Chronicle; for historical criticism it is a construction without documentary basis.

Authorship note
A lecture cycle: text established from stenographic transcripts or listeners' notes, for the most part not revised by Steiner; he himself warned that such texts lacked the reliability of his written books. Steiner died in 1925: the content is in the public domain; modern editions and translations carry their own rights.
