Lectures to members (1904–1906) on the Masonic legend of Hiram, Cain and Abel, Rosicrucianism and the mysteries, documenting Steiner's link with esoteric Freemasonry (Memphis-Misraim rite). It is a principal source on the esoteric school of those years.

Authorship note
A lecture cycle: text established from stenographic transcripts or listeners' notes, for the most part not revised by Steiner; he himself warned that such texts lacked the reliability of his written books. Steiner died in 1925: the content is in the public domain; modern editions and translations carry their own rights.
