正法眼蔵 坐禪儀

Dōgen contemplando la luna (Tsukimi no zō)
byDōgen

A short, practical Japanese version of the instructions for sitting (Echizen, 1243): the place, the cushion, the lotus posture, the hands, the breath and the attitude of "thinking not-thinking". It ends by stating that zazen is not learning meditation but the gate of great ease. According to the colophon, it was preached or written at Kippō-ji (Echizen).
