Attar
Ushtur-nama (Book of the Camel)
Traditional attribution
Ushtur-nama (Book of the Camel)
اشترنامه (Ushtur-nama)

A masnavi of the so-called second group, mystical in inspiration and alien in style to Attar's. Ritter studied it as part of the ascribed corpus, but later scholarship excludes it from the authentic work.
No edition of this work is currently on sale in a store we have been able to verify.
Authorship note
Apocryphal. It belongs to Ritter's 'second group': Nafisi showed on grounds of style that it cannot be Attar's; Ritter refused to ascribe it to the Attar of Tun (a manuscript of the *Jawhar al-dhat* is dated 735/1334–1335) and its author remains unidentified.
