Tsongkhapa, pintura del siglo XVI (Rubin Museum of Art)
byTsongkhapa

Fifty-eight stanzas addressed to the Buddha, whom it praises for having taught dependent origination, 'the reason that establishes emptiness'. According to his biographies he wrote it after the decisive understanding of emptiness reached at Wölkha while reading Buddhapālita's commentary, around 1397–1398. A union of devotion and argument, it is the most beautiful summary of his philosophy. Miscellaneous writings, vol. 2 (kha).
