Faithful Explanation of the Buddha's Intent on the Difficult Points of Calm Abiding and Special Insight

ཞི་ལྷག་གཉིས་ཀྱི་དཀའ་བའི་གནས་ལ་རྒྱལ་བའི་དགོངས་པ་ཕྱིན་ཅི་མ་ལོག་པར་བཤད་པ། (zhi lhag gnyis kyi dka' ba'i gnas la rgyal ba'i dgongs pa phyin ci ma log par bshad pa)

Tsongkhapa, pintura del siglo XVI (Rubin Museum of Art)
byTsongkhapa

A treatise on the most disputed questions of śamatha and vipaśyanā: the relation between concentration and analysis, and why the mere absence of thought does not amount to understanding emptiness. Its textual relation to the final sections of the Middle-Length Lamrim remains to be clarified. It appears in vol. 14 (pha) of the collected works, Tashi Lhunpo edition (BDRC index 14.4). No translation into a Western language was found in the catalogues consulted.
