Ocean of Reasoning: Great Commentary on the Fundamental Verses of the Middle Way
དབུ་མ་རྩ་བའི་ཚིག་ལེའུར་བྱས་པ་ཤེས་རབ་ཅེས་བྱ་བའི་རྣམ་བཤད་རིགས་པའི་རྒྱ་མཚོ། (dbu ma rtsa ba'i tshig le'ur byas pa shes rab ces bya ba'i rnam bshad rigs pa'i rgya mtsho)
A chapter-by-chapter commentary on Nāgārjuna's Mūlamadhyamakakārikā, begun at Sera Chöding around 1407–1408. It reads Nāgārjuna through Buddhapālita and Candrakīrti and argues that emptiness of intrinsic existence does not destroy causality, ethics or convention but is what makes them possible. Vol. 15 (ba); in Tibet it is known as the Rtsa she ṭik chen.
