Forty Questions of the Soul
Viertzig Fragen von der Seelen (Psychologia vera)

Answers to the forty questions on the origin, essence and destiny of the soul put to him in 1620 by the physician Balthasar Walther: where it comes from, how it joins the body, what befalls it after death, what the resurrection will be. It includes the figure of the 'philosophical sphere' or 'wonder-eye of eternity', two intersecting circles meeting in a heart, which Jung reproduced in the twentieth century as an example of a mandala.
