Two little books on the sacraments, at the height of the Lutheran-Calvinist dispute over Christ's presence in the Supper. Böhme places himself above the quarrel: Christ is truly present, but only the inner mouth of the reborn soul receives him; baptism and the Supper are testaments that work in whoever has faith.
