An article published in Dushepoleznoe chtenie (1875, no. 11, pp. 342–352) against the Synodal translation of the Old Testament made from the Masoretic text: it reviews the history of the Septuagint and the changes in the Hebrew text through copyists' errors and the absence of vowels, and argues that the Church knew as God's word only the Septuagint.
