Twenty-two extensive comments, published from 1870 in the journal Domashnyaya beseda, on the letters on the inner life that Count Mikhail Speransky wrote between 1814 and 1818 to his friend F. I. Zeyer: Theophan accepts some statements and qualifies others to show their orthodoxy. Florensky cites them in the 4th edition (1903).
