Einleitungen zu Goethes Naturwissenschaftlichen Schriften (GA 1)
Introductions and commentaries Steiner wrote between the ages of 21 and 36 for the five volumes of Goethe's scientific writings in Kürschner's series (1883–1897). He defends the metamorphosis of plants, the theory of colours and Goethe's method as a science of the living in which thinking grasps the 'type' of organisms.
