Recorded oral teaching

Vichara Sangraham (Self-Enquiry)

விசார சங்கிரகம்

Retrato de Ramana Maharshi por G. G. Welling (1948)
byRamana Maharshi

The longest doctrinal text of the early years. More technical than Nan Yar, it engages the vocabulary of yoga and Vedanta (the sheaths of the self, the states of waking, dream and deep sleep, breath control) to bring everything back to self-enquiry. It shows a Ramana who knew the classical terminology and used it freely, without binding himself to any school.
