Letter to Obadiah the Proselyte
תשובה לר׳ עובדיה הגר
Replies to a convert to Judaism who asked whether he might say in his prayers "our God and God of our fathers" and who had been humiliated by his teacher. Maimonides assures him that he may pray like any born Jew, for Abraham is the father of all proselytes, and addresses him with exceptional words of esteem.
