Xiang'er Commentary on the Laozi
老子想爾注

The first religious reading of the Daodejing: it turns its maxims into precepts for the community of believers and presents the Dao as a deity manifested in Laozi. It covers chapters 3 to 37 of the received text. Stephen Bokenkamp translated it into English in 1997.
