Of True Resignation
Von wahrer Gelassenheit

A treatise on Gelassenheit, a word he inherits from Rhineland mysticism: the surrender of one's own will so that God's may work in it. It describes the struggle between the reason that wants to possess and the soul that learns to let go, and is one of the texts that bring Böhme closest to the tradition of Eckhart and Tauler.
